There is something about that area, and poison. 30 kinds of venomous sea snakes, 10s of the most poisonous land snakes, poisonous octopuses, deadly jellyfish (sea wasp), spiders, and even venomous ticks, inhabit that area. Hell, even the platypus is venomous. |
