Default Cal newsgroup?

A number of years ago I was part of a Cal newsgroup on-line. Does
anyone know if such a group still exists?

In particular, I need to find out how the plywood bulkheads are
attached and whether water getting between the hull-deck joint would
encounter the raw wood edge of the bulkhead. (ie I have a bulkhead
leak)

Thanks
