Hi all, this is a continuation of my previous thread:
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.s...e_thread/threa... Thanks for all of the previous suggestions. I did empty the tank and put in fresh gas. I also verified that there was no condensation in the distributor cap. I meant to change the fuel filter, but it turns out I didn't buy the right one. This time, the boat ran like a champ for about 1.5 - 2 hours. After we were done pulling the kids on the tube, we wanted to take some slalom runs (and this is when the trouble began). Once again, it sputtered when we hit the throttle. If we stuck with it for a few seconds, it eventually cleared up and ran good. However, the sputtering makes it a pain for deep water slalom starts! Any thoughts on what my next troubleshooting step should be? Why does it run so well at the beginning? Thanks in advance for any replies. |
