Default Lake Oroville

Hey Calif Bill et al,

I'm taking my boat to a new lake in September! My buddy and I made
reservations at Loafer Creek campground. He's got 2 kids. I've got 2 kids.
He has a 10 foot aluminum boat with a small outboard and an electric
trolling motor and I've got my 18 foot ski boat. We're forcing our wives to
go tent camping with us; yes against their will! They've gotten soft in
their middle age with all the hotels and trailers and class A's. It's
time we reminded them where they came from.

Looking forward to the new boating destination and the
tubing/skiing/wakeboarding/fishing. Heading there on your recommendation,
so I thought I'd let you know.

Boy, that sure sounds like it will be a fun time, especially for the
kids..........a memory maker for sure.

Have the wives give up the hair dryers and makeup for a few days. Camping
is fun. Heck, they may even learn to enjoy it.............if you do it
right. Just make sure to let them sleep on an air mattress or bring along a
foam sleeping pad to put the sleeping bag over. Nothing turns one off of
camping more than having to sleep on lumpy ground. Not asking them to cook
is another plus. ;-)
