Default mercruiser 3.0 left hand rotation help!!!

I'm not torally sure, but I don't think that 3.0s were made to "crank
backwards'

Now the outdrive (Mercruiser?) may have been left hand, but I don't
think the engine is.

When looking at the front of the engine, the rotation should be
clockwise at the crankshaft.

What did it come out of? what are you putting it in?
