... Went out early this morning - 3AM and it was still hot even out on the water. Hit a Grand Slam with a monster blue fish, 38" striper and of all things a Mahi along with a couple of fluke. Caught a bunch of blues and schoolile stripers - all in all a good day. We were back at the dock by 8 though - freakin' hot. It's so hot, the dogs don't even want to go outside. :) It's now, according to my handy dandy hi-tech weather station, 93 degrees with a heat index of, get this, 102. THIS IS FREAKIN' NEW ENGLAND!!! ~~ mutter ~~ Mahi in Rhode Island??? |

Mahi in Rhode Island??? We get a sampling of southern fish up here off the MA, CT and RI coast during the summer. Mahi and even an occasional Sailfish show up. Eisboch |
