What do you say about the fact that because of dark asphalt and
buildings that cities are in the 5 to 10 degree warmer range during the
day, and can be seen clearly with infrared photography? What do you say
about the fact that because the buildings are a massive heat sink, that
the same cities don't cool at night like the surrounding areas?
Do you think that it's ignorant to think that the approx. 141 million
tons of pollutants added by just the United States each year would have
a negative affect on the environment?

The ecoenquirer site is a put-on. I almost fell for the article until
I saw the wife's comment about chili. Then I thought it was strange
that none of the articles were dated. The clincher was "Man Ordered
to Apologize to Bald Eagle" or somesuch.
