Default Auto replacement parts

I need to do some ignition work on my 4.3 mercruiser. I know that auto
starters and alternators are not acceptable for marine but what about spark
plug wires, dist cap, coil and module?

The dist cap may be different. A quality rotor and wires from any
source are fine. Some people prefer stainless steel plugs simply
because they are rust resistant. Otherwise any correct heat range plug
is fine. The module is a merc specific part if you have a thunderbolt
x system. I'm not sure what coils are substituable but there is
nothing marine special about the coil.
