That's what a windlass is for.




Can a windlass launch an anchor to the beach, or assist in rafting, or
shake loose junk picked up in the anchor, or rig a bow line. etc.etc.etc.
Bubble boats do have certain disadvantages.

He's just being argumentative. He's never actually tried moving to the bow
on one of those monstrosities.
