Try being more open about your boat and boating experiences and maybe,
just maybe folks will consider your advice. Until then accept the
consequences of your decision to remain totally anonymous to this NG,
both in name and experience, none of which have resulting in insulting
or name calling.

BTW: You previously stated that *all* Volvo Penta engines need a 160F
and you were promptly proved wrong. Your credibility remains at 0%

Just the facts...........Jack!

Hey, Jim, using your above edict, then when you didn't have a boat, but
posted here continuously, does that then mean that your thousands of
posts at that time had absolutely no credibility?

You're almost correct... just one partner, my wife.

You keep your's close at hand too, right? Your mom. You sick canuck.

Reggie's stated reasons for anonymity are b.s., in case you haven't yet

Disclosing your real first name (and using it), the type of boat you
own and where you boat is not removing your anonymity.

What are you afraid of?

Admitting he used to post here with "real" information, of course.

Could he be Jim Gallow? Reggie knew quite a bit of the Atlanta area when he
used to spend his time teasing Kevin.

But then again, Jim Gallow owned a boat.

Hey, Dennis Compton, care to take the $5000 challenge that I'm not
Kevin? Put up or shut up. Grow up and act like a man, Jim.

So that is my point, it really doesn't matter what is said, you really
don't believe it, and it makes much more sense to discuss boating issues
and not personal issues. I could goggle up 10,000's of posts where
people have challenged personal boating resumes and the accuracy of the
personal information provided by regulars in rec.boats. A large percent
of those challenging that personal information would include the byline
JimH or Dennis Compton.

PS. When you replace your manifolds and risers, be sure to check the

Try being more open about your boat and boating experiences and
maybe,
just maybe folks will consider your advice. Until then accept the
consequences of your decision to remain totally anonymous to this
NG,
both in name and experience, none of which have resulting in
insulting
or name calling.

BTW: You previously stated that *all* Volvo Penta engines need a
160F
and you were promptly proved wrong. Your credibility remains at 0%

Just the facts...........Jack!

Reggie's stated reasons for anonymity are b.s., in case you haven't
yet
guessed. He plays his little game because at one point he logged on
here
with his "real" persona, and he doesn't want the "regulars" to guess
who
he really is.
Harry,
Are you saying, I prefer to keep my anonymity because some regulars
prefer to respond with personal insults instead of sticking to the
topic
being discussed?

Reggie

That's my story and I am sticking to it!

Disclosing your real first name (and using it), the type of boat you
own and where you boat is not removing your anonymity.

What are you afraid of?

Edit:

Several months ago, JimH, a person on this group made fun of your last
name, your boat, where you lived, the house in which you lived, your
reasons for selling your boat, your being boatless, and any other
personal
information this individual could glean from your posts.

Do you not remember this?

Now you are asking another to provide personal information, somehow
linking
his knowledge to his release thereof. --

Uh-oh. Herring is perseverating...again.

He is certainly a very nasty and negative person lately and now spends his
time here picking fights and stirring the pot.

Now I know how you and Kevin felt when he attacked both of you every day.

Hey, Dennis Compton, care to take the $5000 challenge to prove I'm not
Kevin? Put up, or shut up. Now, you were the worst offender of the
above, not John. If you REALLY don't remember either that , or when
Harry done all of what Reggie was talking about, you sincerely need
help with your mental demons. Perhaps this is why you go off on your
monthly bipolar rants, they may be related.

Well, we know you never go to a bar to pick up dates. Your two
favourite sexual partners are 'close at hand'.

You're almost correct... just one partner, my wife.

You keep your's close at hand too, right? Your mom. You sick canuck.

Not only are you a Jackoff... you're a Jackass to boot.
Your wife (if you really have one) has my condolences.

Your twisted viewpoint would be funny if it weren’t so sad, Don.
Let’s review:

I posted a reply to someone else, not to you. The thread was not
about you. I didn’t mention your name in my post. It would seem that
you simply identified yourself with it all on your own.

In keeping with your normal MO, you posted an unprovoked attack on me,
attempting to insult or humiliate me. I replied in kind to you.

Now you reply with childish name calling, obviously with your feelings
hurt. If you can’t run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

You should look into the mirror tonight and do some soul-searching as
to why you attack people unprovoked. Maybe you think you *are* a
punk?

Childish name calling........
Calling people names like punk just shows that you are an insecure
person that needs to do such to bolster your failing manhood.

What, the descriptive term “punks”? That’s only name-calling if it
actually applies to someone. I didn’t name who I thought were the
punks. Did you feel slighted by the term?

Anyway, it doesn’t matter. I’ve done about 1/10th the name-calling
that *you* have on this NG. By your definition, that would mean your
manhood has completely failed.

Here's a few Bassy name-calling quotes...

Hey, dumbass, would you care to take the $5,000 challenge to prove that
I'm not Kevin? Put up, or shut up!

Again, you idiot, ALMOST is a relative term.....
And to think those old farts let you mess with their false teeth.

Put up, or shut up, little boy.

"bolster your failing manhood" indeed.

If you don't have access to oxalic acid, use Barkeeper's Friend. About $5,
in a cardboard cylinder package; I bought it in the cleanser section at
Wal-Mart. Wipe on with a damp rag and rinse off - no scrubbing!

William, I brought the boat home today to start cleaning her up for vacation
and raise the waterline (bottompaint). I used the Barkeepers Friend to
clean the scumline as you suggested and it worked wonderfully! Thanks for
the heads up.

I will not try to fix the epoxy barrier coat coverage but I will be

So how do you remove the scum line? I have brushed it off every time

I
have been in the water and washing down the boat and outdrive, but a

Hang out with a better crowd!

Not possible. ;-)

A mixture of oxalic acid and a mild scrub brush will do it.
Wear goggles.

OK. John recommended the same thing. Thanks!

Barkeepers Friend is a wonderful product. It's also a great brass and
copper cleaner. I wouldn't waste it as a stainless stelle cleaner; I'd
just use Bab-O.
