Default Weight of boat

this may sound like a stupid question, but i can't locate the info on the
boat. I have a 1994 2130SS Chaparral, I'm looking for the weight of the
boat. Any suggestions on where to get the information?

I'm thinking that calling the company would be a pretty high-tech method of
finding the weight.

BUC International Corp publishes an annual book series called "The BUC
Used Boat Price Guide". Most boat dealers subscribe and have a copy of the
series. It lists just about every boat ever built, options, engine sizes
and the boat weight.

I'd visit a local boat dealer and ask if he could look it up for you. I am
not a dealer, but I used to have a copy of the series several years ago, but
who knows where it is now.

oel,
I am surprised they were not helpful, Chaparral is a decent company,
who would have been able to look up the info fairly quickly. I hope
that is not indicative of their customer service.

Them: We don't have that information.

You: Of course you do. I'll need to speak to your boss, please.

They absolutely, positively have the information. End of discussion.

It's being edited for content out in Derby, Kansas.

Or, do it yourself with a hydraulic load cell and a jack.
