HAVE FUN ON THE RIVER AT PADDLEFEST

Paddlefest is the largest canoe and kayak festival in the
Midwest, and celebrates the river and the human power it
takes to get from one point to the other. It starts with
the Ohio River Music & Outdoor Festival on Friday, July 7
and continues through Saturday, July 8 with a 6-mile paddle
regatta from the Four Seasons Marina to the Public Landing.

On Saturday, there will be three races that paddlers can
join: a fourteen mile pro race, a nine mile amateur canoe
and kayak race, and a six mile adult/youth race. Or there
will be the six mile "2,000 Paddles" Float Trip. When
everyone arrives at the Public Landing, the Finish Line
Party will begin, featuring live music, food vendors,
environmental exhibits, war canoe races, and more.

Friday's festival at Four Seasons Marina runs from 3:00 pm
to midnight (event registration closes at 9:00) and
Saturday's races start between 8:00 and 8:45 am with the
"2,000 Paddles" kicking off between 8:45 and 9:30 am. The
Finish Line Party starts at 10:30 am and runs until 2:00 pm.
