I narrowed my choices of air compressor down, found a really good deal on
Amazon and bought one.

Now, I have to figure out how to attach it to a handtruck to
"portable-ize" it.

So, I'll soon have plenty more hot air.

Live with it.

Or don't.

:-)

So show us what you bought! Tools are good. ;-)

One of these:

They have hand trucks on sale at half price all the time here. You would
either have to weld or bolt on a plate big enough to match the footprint
of that air compressor and you've got it made. At 77 pounds it's not
outrageously heavy, but I wouldn't want to carry it very far.
I used my hand truck to carry floor tiles in yesterday. Mom's
wheelchare ramp comes in handy at times.

I should check those out for my 2 outboards. Don't ever recall seeing
them on sale here. Must be a speciality kind of item.

Those things are a bit pricey. Neat though!

With a little creativity, bungies, and this, you might be able to carry
everything you need in one trip.

A chunk of 3/4" plywood and four of these (http://tinyurl.com/zdh2v ) and
you'd be good to go for about $12, if you got expensive plywood.

You think I can buy four Home Depots for under $12?

Try this:
http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS...D=9876&pos=n01

Seems like 'tiny url' doesn't like this url,but I'll try again:

http://tinyurl.com/zdh2v

If that doesn't work, go to the home depot site and put 'wheels' in it's
search engine. You should find the set of
:

Stanley
Swiveling Wheels

Model 165116
Price: $9.99/pkg

Cheap!

Welding a steel plate is probably overkill in my opinion. A piece or
3/4 inch ply should be more than sufficient and could be easily
unbolted if you wanted to use the hand truck for something else.
