I think I'll try ice and try to rub it off with a wooden stick If that fails using some 0000 grade steel wool and rubbing compound might do the trick. It's not much that got on the pipe and, in the worst case, it will eventually burn off itself. Got any non-purple plumber's pvc primer laying around? Might work. I guess I did get lucky with the rag. There was still some discoloration, but it eventually did go away, or at least, I stopped noticing it. |
