Here's a pic of an Olds.
http://www.hubcapcafe.com/ocs/pages01/olds7401.htm Here's a pic of a Ford Maverick. http://home.comcast.net/~petebre/mav...ears/1971.html "FREDO" wrote in message news ![]() 1971 Ford Maverick Grabber 302 V-8 4V 5.11 gears C-4 A/T Very Fast!! 14.6 sec. E.T. 98 mph 1/4 mile times. Top Speed was only 116 though. I went through 4 sets of tires in 12,000 miles and Guarantee Auto replaced them for free until the last time when they found great big gobs of rubber in the rear wheelwells from all my burnouts. ( they used to have tread wearout warranties in those days. Traded that in on a Brand New 1974 Oldsmobile Cutlass S 455 with W-30 package Midnight Blue With White swivel bucket seats(Remember those?). Man those were the days, 19 years old, new job in a machine shop, just married, and I got credit for a Brand New Car with only 1500 dollars down. Of course the whole car only cost 5154.00 US. In high school I originally had to share a car with 2 of my sisters (OMG). I think it was an early 1960's Rambler. I finally got my own ride Junior year...........a 1964 Chevelle Malibu with an Earl Sheib paint job, a Thrush muffler and moonie caps on the wheels. I eventually sold that and bought a 1965 Chevy Impala Convertible (bought it from the owner of the gas station I worked part time for). That car lasted me till it was stolen and I replaced it with a '64 Ford Galaxy I got for a steal from a neighbor. End of teenage cars. So how about you? |

Worked with a guy in the mid 70's who towed a boat with a Maverick. Boat was bigger than the Mav. PAssed him one day while I was towing my Vette Race car, and saw theis big assed boat, behind a Maverick and commented about dangerous idiots on the road, and then realized who it was. Was still a dangerous idiot on the road. Nice guy, but dangerous with that tow combo. |

Uh, hate to burst your bubble, there, Timmy, but I'm simply replying to what you post to me, get it? If you were to never ever reply to one of my posts, you'd never hear from me. So, yes, it IS you who is obsessed. |
