I just purchased a small outboard motor that does not look worn at
all.

It is a West Bend Shrimp 3.5 hp air cooled. Model: 2202, serial:
1089.

I would like to know:

- what year aprox. model 2202 was made?
- if parts are still availlable and where?
- could I use a mixture of 25:1 good 2 stroke oil instead of the
recomended 1:16 ?

It will need minor repairs.

I expect the propeller and shaft seals will need replacements and I can
foresee the carburator large gasket will be needed also.
