Now I'm paying SunRocket $199 per *year* and get more than what I got with Verizon. I recently plugged the SunRocket adapter into a wall telephone jack and it powers all the jacks in the house. Of course, I unplugged the Verizon line outside the house. I use Cox Cable for my ISP, and I upgraded the speed so I'm getting about 18 Mbps download and about 1.7Mbps upload. For a little over $16 per month I can put up with an occasional echo. When I have a problem with outage, which has happened only once recently, repowering the modem and the adapter has solved the problem. Yeah! I've been watching SunRocket, but they don't serve either number I would like to port. 18 Mbps download? Yeah... I think that was a typo. According to their website it would take an optical connect to get over 15 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. Today it was only a little over 15Mbps. Look 'over there' for 'Speedtest'. Yesterday it was as I posted. I'll admit I'm paying an extra $15 a month for the higher speed! -- John H ****************************************** ***** Have a Spectacular Day! ***** ****************************************** |
