A bright object has suddenly appeared in the sky, everything is bright again and I can once again see my shadow...........finally, after 7 continuous days of rain. Shadow? Shadow? What is this shadow thing you speak of? Perhaps related the bright object in the sky. I remember seeing a bright object in the sky, but it was so long ago I can't remember what a shadow looks like. Stella As I told Don in a previous post, I spoke too soon. It rained all day today........all day......with the rain finally stopping about an hour ago. I had planned to take the afternoon off to install my new helm seat and finish the bimini installation.....but that will have to wait till tomorrow (provided it does not rain all day again). I trust you are from the New England area as rain is forecast there all weekend. Bummer. |

Stella It stopped raining here.....finally, yesterday at around 5 p.m. Today we headed to the boat to do some last minute work........finish the bimini installation and install the new helm seat. After that was done we took a river cruise, stopping by along the trip to visit with a friend of ours who was still working on his '69 Lyman (although it is in the water). It was cool and very windy but we enjoyed it. Lots of folks out today working on their boats. ;-) All I have left to do is install the new A/B switch, secure the new battery box and install an hour meter. The forecast looks promising heading into Memorial Day weekend............and we are finally ready! Have you splashed your boat for the season yet? |
