I am new to boating but come with a mechanical background(auto mechanic).
I have a 21foot Chris Craft power by a 4.3 liter v6 Mercruiser with a OMC Cobra outdrive. The problem is that the engine has ingested water on 3 occasions. I am looking for things to check so that I can alleviate the problem. Bob H |

Bad exhaust manifold, bad exhaust riser (risers too short, were they
replaced?), suddenly shutting the engine off while running at speed, stern too low. I had a boat once that water was getting into the carb when I washed it down, cured that with shower caps (yes, shower caps)over the covers. |
