alpha one outdrive question
On a 2002 alpha-one outdrive....
greasing the gimbal left and right joints are obvious, there are fittings right there, but how about greasing the top and bottom pivot joints? Or are these supposed to be lube for life type joints? Thanks for any input, John C. |

alpha one outdrive question
I am not sure about the 2002 model, but my '86 Alpha1 has 5 grease fittings:
1 at the very top centre (upper pivot) 2 (1 on each side) for the tilt 1 on the bottom starboard side (lower pivot) 1 more on the starboard side tucked mid way up (underneath a little) right next to the transom (could be easily missed) Mark The Rail, Canopy, & LifeLine (accessory) Hook guy www.ripnet.com/vtf/prod03.htm "John Chaplain" wrote in message ...
