Default New Boat!

Finally, the new boat arrived. Now comes the fun part: Mounting the new
equipment, refitting stuff salvaged from the old "crushed" boat, getting it
ready for the water, etc. Hopefully it will be done before the oldest
daughter's wedding on the 27th! I'm anxious to fish.

YEA!!

Congratulations on the new boat Ray, even though it came at the expense of
your other boat that was "crushed".

Was the old boat crushed and destroyed from last years hurricanes?

Tell us more about your new boat. :-)

Previous boat was a 1985 24' Bayliner Trophy that I bought new. It was
being stored for the winter in a friend's barn. We had some horrific winds
the 1st week of November and the 100 y.o. barn collapsed on the boat.

As I no longer "needed" a 24' boat I went back to an 18', open, fishing
boat: A Crestliner "Canadian" tiller, with a 60 HP E-tec (don't tell Karen
S. ;) ). It's just a fishing boat that I can use at our place on Lake
Huron, can use it for walleye in Saginaw Bay, can take it to Canada , run it
in the rivers, etc. Something to do in my retirement.
