Default Yamaha Internal propulsion engines

Hep please anyone who conisderes themsleves knowledgable on the topic.

I am looking at buying a family rec. boat and really liked the concept
of the yamaha sr 210 boat but am a bit hesitant due to this type of
engine/ performance pro and cons...any advice out there?

are you talking about the twin jet boats?

The thing with jets and I have one is :


- weeds can get in your impeller and stop you in the tracks

- fun to drive

- usually cant be trimmed

- loud due to high rpm

- not as efficient as props (5-15% less)

- little draft

- neckbending acceleration

- active breaking

- very maneuverable
