Not at that point...he was already gone. Hard to believe...it'll be 4
years in June.

Crap. Sorry to hear that!

I lost mine about 34 years ago, but still miss him. I'd love to go squirrel
hunting with him one more time!

My Dad passed away 35 years ago. What a terrible thing to go through. It
took my Mom a good 3 years to get back to near normal. My 2 little sisters
were only 14 and 17 years old when Dad died. I was 20 but still had a
tough time getting through it. Like you, I still remember the good times my
dad and I had, including fishing and hunting (rabbit and pheasant).

Paul Peterson's song "My Dad" (from Donna Reed Show, 1962) still brings me
to tears when I hear it. http://www.brownielocks.com/mydad.html

Sorry to hear that both of you lost your Dad's. :-(

My Mom died last year and I only have 6 surviving aunts and uncles out of a
total of 18. We are all getting older.

mmmm.. maybe if Bert had both eyes done, he would be about 2/3rds
average size. Something to think about.

Don, this is amazing. Harry is talking about the successful eye surgery
he had and all you can do is to throw a barb my way.

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts!

Aunts & uncles?? I'm down to one last aunt.
I do have about 45 cousins though.

cool weather or not, I'm thinking of taking the boat out to the lake
this Sat.

It's getting intense around here!

Tim

BTW, I've still not had a good opportunity to go get the boat wet. You?

43 years for me and I'm only 52. The best memories were the
boat rides in the 16' Thompson. It was real close to this one;

with one of these hanging out back.

Take your kids (or others) boating...
