For regular.

Can't want to see the marina prices next week.

Sheesh.

Is this going to be the next political kick in the butt for Bush?

Well over 7 bucks a gal in most of Europe.

I don't drive my car in Europe.

But why aren't the political leaders of the countries in Europe screaming?
Or are they and we just don't hear it?

I hate that comment/argument!

Why should I care that it is more expensive in Europe?

Everytime someone mentions the rising cost of gasoline I hear someone saying
how expensive it is somewhere else. It's price is relative to the US
economy and my wages or am I missing something.

My favorite is "inflation adjusted, it's cheaper than it was in 1970".

And the year was actually 1976...........and the comment was made in
response to:

"I remember when Gas at the pumps jumped from $.35 to $.74 per gallon
over night when Jimmy Carter was in office."

To which a response was made: "74 cents a gallon? Wow!"

To which was posted: "When considering inflation, the 1976 USD was worth
$.27 to a 2006 USD. A $.39 increase/gallon in 1976 in today's USD's
converts to a $1.44 increase."

Wow.......indeed. ;-)

I believe it's because a much higher percent of the European cost is due to
taxes. The political leaders of those countries would be ****ing in their
own shoes.
