Who told you boat ownership was "maintenance-free?" Why did you believe that? I spend $300 to $500 a year maintaining my F225 outboard properly. Seems reasonable to me. Harry, I said "maintenance free like", as in the SeaDoo was positioned to me as the Honda of water vehicles. Now I know, first hand, the reasoning behind the adage: "The two best days of a boat owner are ... the day he gets his new boat, and the day he sells it." ;-) Anyway, I'm looking to find out if this maintenance schedule is exaggerated by SeaDoo/Bombardier?
