I need to replace the heads on my OMC (Ford) 5.0L efi motor. I was looking at the price for new heads from OMC and almost died. (1300 @) Is there any reason I can't use heads from a car with the same motor and just change the freeze out plugs? ================================== You don't mention the model year. I have a 1988 OMC, 5.0 and its built on a 305 Chevy engine. You may want to check this out. It could drive a guy up a wall to try to put a Ford head on a Chevy block...... Happy boating, Norm |
