FS Findeisen Spec Ski: Philadelphia Penna Area, $250
The Short Version:
------------------ Findeisen, spec ski, hammerhead bow plane, no leaks but needs work. Fits 30" to 34" inseam. $250. No shipping. No dickering. The Long Version: ----------------- I've paddled it three times so far this season, and it does not leak. But the (fiberglass?) tape that covers the deck/hull seam is starting to peel off. This leaves a sharp edge that's already cost me some blood as I've foundered around in the water and grabbed it the wrong way making it sort of an anti-spec ski at the moment. The new owner should sand off the seam cover, inspect the seam, and re-apply some fiberglass tape. I'd do it and then put it up for more like $1,200, but I've got one of Hunt Johnson's 12'6" wave skis coming and, in the interest of domestic tranquility, would prefer to get this thing out of our back yard before the wave ski arrives - or as soon thereafter as possible. I'm 6'5", 34" inseam and it fits except for being a little narrow for my broad butt. The rudder pedals are adjustable and can go back up to four inches. I paddle it at the local mud hole, in the bay behind Atlantic City, and in the ocean off Ocean City and/or Corson's Inlet. Image at http://tinyurl.com/gh5dp -- PeteCresswell |

Looks like it's sold.
Not a sure thing, but the prospective buyer is talking about picking it up this Sunday. Maybe I priced it too low....-) -- PeteCresswell |

Per (PeteCresswell):
