Harry Krause wrote: My daily runner needs new shoes. Size: 265/65/17 I'm looking at Michelin Cross Terrains at $193 a foot, versus Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's at $179. In other words, the price is close to the same. So, how the hell does one decide, one over the other? I'll tell you, I had a set of Wranglers, and I will never, ever put a set of them on any of my vehicles. When I got Bridgstone Duelers, I told the guy at the tire store that I'm actually happy those Wranglers finally wore out, and he said he's heard that a thousand times. Those things were horrible. They were always out of balance, noisy, bumpy tires. Tire guy knew exactly what I was talking about. I like the Bridgestones, and when it came time to replace those, I got the same ones. |
