It's actually pretty good tasting as I remember it. Anybody remember grandparents doing that? I'm a grandparent now and I used to do it as a kid. Guys I work with still do it. Works to tame a sour apple. |

Never have done it but it sounds like a natural - sweet and salty go
great together. My favorite example that some people here in NY, where I live now, think is strange, but was de rigeur in Philly where I grow up, and seems to me to go without saying - vanilla ice cream with pretzels. richforman |
