Default While reading an article about mangos..

This reminded me of something that my grandmother did - mainly, eat a
salted apple. It's actually pretty good tasting as I remember it.

Anybody remember grandparents doing that?


I'm a grandparent now and I used to do it as a kid. Guys I work with
still do it. Works to tame a sour apple.
