JTides is a free Java program that provides worldwide tidal predictions for
over 3300 sites, and provides its results in a number of useful ways.
JTides has recently managed to reacquire data sources for some United
Kingdom sites after being obliged to remove all UK data several years ago
at the insistence of the UK Hydrographic Authority.

JTides 4.9 includes a number of bug fixes and enhancements, including the
ability to create multi-year Web page datasets of particular sites,
suitable for posting online or downloading to a PDA.

Those who have a prior version of JTides installed should delete their
JTides user directory before running the new version, to allow a database
upgrade.
