Chuck position on OT political posts are not based upon the viewpoint.
He has taken a very simple idea that all political posts are detrimental
to rec.boats. He has not been biased one way or the other.

I agree and it is nice to see at least one other person
feels that way. You have done a great job of refraining.

Bert seems to be a far-right Harry Krause... intent on
stirring up muck, blinded by partisanship... Harry

I have been admonishing both sides pretty equally. I'm sure you don't
read any threads started by Harry Krause, but if you had read his very
recent thread about the Ayatollah somebody starting a conservative
Catholic Christian compound down in Florida, for instance, you would
have seen a disapproving reference to his hitting a "double" by
combining religion and politics in a single post.

Why does *anybody* need to dump OT political crap in here?
People who haven't got the ability to discuss boats or have no interest
in discussing boats and boating can, (for my money), shut up, sit back
and spectate or go find a group that is of actual interest to them.

Boating and discussions about boating shouldn't be f*cked up by
politics- yours or mine.

How about you, Bert? Can you see any aspect of this post at the head of
this thread that should be of interest to a boating NG? Me neither.
That means the only reason the mule posted it was to start some flame
wars and be disruptive. Screw that.
