Yawn. It's far more likely for Snipper to read about a place than visit
it, eh?


One of us actually experienced that 'golden era' of the Cortez, the
other didn't.

Oh yes, and one of us corresponded with Mr. Kira in the research for
that book, and the other didn't.

I suspect in drains *aboveground* via the Arkansas and Mississippi to
New Orleans and the Gulf of Mexico. A route one can take by boat from
Tulsa at the Port of Catoosa via the Verdegris. Your mileage takes you
to the Cortez?
