Default Twin hull - aluminium or fibreglass?

Hi folks,

I'm currently in the market for a new boat .. I'm looking closely at a
twin hull (shark cat) aluminium ..

Going on the conflicting advice I've had from other people, I sense
this might be a firy topic, but .. just after anyone's opinions on the
difference between going for aluminium or fibreglass? I've heard there
are issues with aluminium if you drop a sinker (or anything metal) -
but I'm not so sure this would be a problem when buying a boat with a
carpeted floor.

Any / all advice appreciated!

Cheers,

Matt
