hindsight perhaps I should have put a warning in the original post so
as not to offend folks like you who may not appreciate the pure beauty
and splendor of a woman's body.

The images on that site are no worse than one would see in a Playboy
magazine, a magazine my wife and I bought for our son when he was 13
so he could realize that women are not sex toys and that their bodies
are a thing of beauty.

I told my son not to bring material such as Playboy et al into our home
or to purchase any such material, because I wanted him to show respect
to women.


Don't kid yourself. Kids have easy access to porn sites and all boys
visit them, whether you know it or not. They also experiment with their
body, if you know what I mean, whether you know it or not.

They will get their jollies one way or another.

We choice the Playboy route vs. raunchy internet site. Heck, we even
gave him the Victoria Secret catalogues after my wife was done with
them.


I've also taught him to not bring rap or hip hop into our home or to
purchase such material because of it's blatant and pervasive
degradation of women and promotion of drugs and violence.

Again, they will listen to it one way or another if they want to. You
can certainly help mold his character and morals, but boys will
experiment. I did.......as I am sure you did.

We chose to teach our son about the real world and right from wrong,
rather than shield him from it.




It's amazing how differently we all see things and decide right from
wrong for ourselves.

No harm felt, Jim. Didn't see it as lecturing, although with hindsight ...
Like I said, it's amazing how differently we all see the same thing, based
on our personal values and experiences and goals.
