Post it! Seattle shots are always beautiful.

"All decisions are the result of binary thinking."

Second attempt. Google swallowed the first one. Sorry if this is
ultimately a duplicate.

Hello, John

Everybody sings that incorrectly. The actual words are "the bluest
skies you'll *never* see are in Seattle."

But anyway, the next beautiful shots you'll see from Seattle will be
the Seahawks in our beautiful Qwest field doing your Redskins as
Paddy
did the drum.

If our defense doesn't collapse (always a possibility with this
year's
team) your very good team will have its hands full with Seattle at
home.

Bet you some Pacific NW smoked salmon against...(what the heck do
you
have back there in DC?) -I can't eat red shellfish. No point spread,
just a simple win/lose bet.
Harry too, if he wants, as he lives in the DC area. Other than that,
the betting is closed.

Confirm the wager and name your stakes prior to kickoff if you're
interested. Here's hoping your Skins play well enough to finish a
close
second tomorrow. :-)

No, you can't pull that 'bad weather' trick with me. I've been there.
I
*know* what Seattle is like on a sunny, spring or summer day, and the
skies
are *definitely* the bluest you'll ever see. I've believed that since
my
first visit there back in 1969, on my way to Vietnam.

I'm glad to hear your defense is lacking, 'cause last week our
offense
was
non-existent. I believe we set a new playoff record for the fewest
offensive yards ever gained by any team in a playoff game.

Now *that's* something to be proud of!

I can think of nothing produced locally that would come close to a
chunk
of
smoked salmon from the Pike Street Market. A Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab
sandwich from one of the better establishments would be the best
shot,
but
I don't think it would survive the trip.

Aha! My daughter just had an idea as I was describing this quandary.
Virginia Peanuts! I will wager a can of Virginia Peanuts! Accept the
wager
or squirm out of it, your choice!

"Have a **spectacular** day!!

Virginia peanuts it is. One vacuum pack of smoked salmon vs. a can of
Virginia peanuts!

I can taste those goobers now. :-)

As long as he don't send you "boiled goobers".

i quite like boiled goobers.

Went to the California Culinary Academy for the Friday Buffet last night.
Anniversary. And she did like the tennis bracelet, even if it did not
come
from NYC, and was on 70% off sale. They had smoked sturgeon, braised Ahi,
and nice lamb chops as well as another 50' of appetizers. But no where
was
boiled goobers.

Do they raise peanuts in CA?

******Have a spectacular day!******

No, just draw Peanuts. There are some very sandy areas that would grow
peanuts extremely well, but other better paying crops go in those fields.

We went to see Les Miserable' downtown. Didn't end until well after
the
game started. But, it's been downhill since we got home. It's 4th
quarter,
but we've still got over 4 minutes. Where the hell is Sonny
Jurgenson when
we need him???

Huh????????????

No self respecting man would go out with his wife to a musical while
his
home team is playing a playoff football game. Extra points also lost
by
going to of all things.................a musical.

Shame.............shame...........shame.

you know how those army nancy boys are...

I don't know. Sounds like clever planning. Not only does he get points
for going taking his lady to a musical- she knows darn well he "gave
up" the chance to watch the playoff game in order to accommodate her.
He winds up with a woman who will need to find some nice way to express
her gratitude, plus he still got home in time to watch the final
minutes. I think they call that "strategy" in the Army.

no self respecting he man would ever be seen dead at les miserable'

nancy boy

Boy... you sure talk the talk for a man who's only 'half armed'.

Thanks. Now *I* won't be hauled to jail for threatening to wring his
scrawny little neck!

I can't believe that I was being called all these miserable' names while
enjoying a movie with the wife and daughter last night.

The movie? "Cinderella Man". If you've not seen it, do.

pansy...

If you are going to watch a musical, at least make it "Paint Your Wagon"
with Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood and wife with multiple husbands.

That *was* a good one!

Hell why not tell her you don't enjoy musicals and offer to take her out
for
a romantic dinner instead.........*after* the game is over or another
day.

Same results plus you get to watch the game AND avoid having to sit
through
a gay musical. ;-)

Hell, she wants me to take her to see 'Broadback Mountain' (or whatever
it's called)!

After the game, we had Chinese while we watched "Cinderella Man". *That*
was a great movie! It's also what prevented me from responding to all
the
nasty comments from you sweethearts last night!

The cable channels have been really promoting 'Brokeback Mountain' up
here.
I'm from the old school & would still feel a bit uncomfortable watching
two men get all touchy & feely with each other.

my wife, dil and daughters have seen it - they thought it was so-so.

definitely not my cuppa if you will.

ill wait for the dvd.

I have not seen it. If it was not about touchy feely men, the Hollywood
crowd would probably not be calling it best movie of the year. On a related
note, Shelly Winters died. Amazing how a blond bombshell become a toad and
won more acclaim as a full bodied women.

She irritated me to hell in 'The Poseidon Adventure'.
All the screaming & arguing every step they took.
Now Stella Stevens...... in those days she could fill your jib.

People portrayed like that in a lot movies turns me off. Just leave them,
if they know so much better.
