I have just acquired a 1962 Bell Boy 18' Sedan Cruiser with an Evinrude 100
hp electric start outboard. I am seeking information about this boat. Can anyone help? Bob Swarts |

Bob Swarts Check out the web site fiberglassics.com There was a boat with a similar name built in Bellingham, WA in the late 50's and early 60's. I think the last word was spelled "Buoy", however, so it might not be the same boat. Some of the folks from Bell Buoy went on (if I recall correctly) to found Uniflite. Check out fiberglassics, that would be the most likely spot for info. |

My first boat I had was a 16' cabin cruiser like thing. I think the brand was "Blue Buoy". It had an old 80 HP outboard with no working starter other than a rope around the emergency slot on the flywheel. I should have known better when the guy I bought it from said he called it "Blue Balls". Sam |
