Default (Almost) Perfect Weekend

Headed to the bay Friday, put stuff away and hauled the boat out of
storage - first chance since Hurricane Rita came calling. Saturday
headed out - almost 80 degrees, gentle breeze - water was as clear and
green as I've seen it. Fished about 5 minutes without a bite when the
fog rolled in. In a matter of minutes visibility was about 50 yards.
Thank God for GPS - followed trails back to waypoints I had previously
set and worked our way back to the house. Fog held all the way through
Sunday night so we didn't take the boat out again until today but the
west wind had stirred the bay and it was pretty off color. Oh well,
got to run the boat which was primary goal, had beautiful weather
outside of the fog and got some stuff done around the house in the
interim. Hope all had a safe and happy New Year.
