Seriously why not just galvanized rims? Harry was being facetious. He is a veteran boater and thinks newbie questions are funny. What he fails to understand is that we were all newbie boaters seeking advice at one time or another. We all asked silly questions to experienced boaters, mainly on a person to person basis as computers and boating NG's or forums were only a dream for many of us. Realizing this great new tool (the internet) to exchange information we need to understand that we now have an obligation to pass along our knowledge and experience to our fellow boaters, especially to those just starting out with boating. Harry must remember that this NG is not here solely for his entertainment. It is here for those seeking information about boating, even if inquiring about something that has been asked here hundreds of times before. I welcome new members and new boaters to this NG and remind them that there is no thing as a stupid question. Off my soapbox now. You are now being returned to your normally scheduled program. |

It's mildly humorous that *you* think you understand my motivations for posting certain of my topics here. Your motivations are crystal clear Harry. As I previously said, you do have a lot to offer here. But you need to get with the new and improved spirit of this NG Harry........otherwise, your posts here will become nothing more than.........*vapid*. ;-) |
