Default No ocean boating today!

Lots of wind and rain. Forcast for up to 20' swells. Down a little from
last week.

Looks like you need a little bayliner to take on that ocean.
I recommend a 22-footer...it's good in storms with waves up to 30' high.


So, if you owned a boat, you would buy a Bayliner. OK.

Not a real big surf day. Wrong direction. In July, is flat calm and the
reef is about 45' deep. Fantastic fishing. About 5 years ago, when the
Ling Cod Limit was still 5, I was trolling over the reef, and got 3 ling
cod, 2 salmon, and a couple of nice Rock Cod. All on a flasher / hoochie
setup.
