Default Cormorant sailboat

This: http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/sto...jim/cormorant/
looks like an interesting boat to build. It has water ballast like the
Mac26 so is easily towed, extreme shoal draft and can be built to any
desired degree of ruggedness and quality. No bizarre speed like the
Mac26 but thats ok. I wonder if a little bit more lead sheet ballast
(say 250 lbs)along the bottom would make her more stable before the
water ballast was filled. If built well enough, she'd be perfect for
the Keys and Bahamas.
