Unlikely spot for a camera to pan. Wearing my fancy leather hat I bought in Argentina, and watching the Seattle team play a pretty decent game. :-) The next game doesn't mean much, but if the Seahawks win two in a row after that they will be in the Superbowl. Should have put $100 on the Seahawks making the SB when I visited my son in Vegas last year, odds would have been a lot more attractive. Coulda, shoulda, woulda........who would have thought the 'hawks would ever have a season? Highlight on the game was a little nothing play. In the 4th quarter, with a commanding lead, Shaun Alexander was sitting on the bench. The Seahawks drove down to the 1-yard line, and still had a down or two to try to punch it in. The crowd starting chanting "We want Shaun!, We want Shaun!" Coach Holmgren decided to listen to the fans and sent Shaun in to carry the ball across the line. It tied the single season touch down record for Shaun Alexander. Alexander, a class act, knelt down in the end zone as if to say "thanks" to the fans for chanting for him, then he grabbed the ball and scurried back to the bench. |
