You lost me.

But, speaking of dogs, I just paid the vet $818 to have a different type of tumor removed from each
of my dogs. The Lab is getting to be a damn expensive dog.

We're hoping the tumor on the bearded collie isn't malignant, but won't know until the biopsy
results come back tomorrow or the next day.

My sister has a black lab with torn ligaments in a leg. Last week she
was waiting to get a surgery estimate...which I'll bet hits $1k.
I haven't had a dog since my American Cocker Spaniel got run over & died.
Tough to eat those sky high vet bills when people are covered by our
medical system.

My lab tore her anterior cruciate ligament in her left back leg. (I *think* that's the one.) It
holds the knee joint together. The doc repaired it with wire through the upper and lower bones. Then
I had to give the dog physical therapy for two months.

$1500 for the operation. This was after radiation therapy at North Carolina State Vet Hospital for a
month, at a cost of $3500. This is getting to be a damn expensive dog. On the farm, she wouldn't
have lasted this long!

JohnH,
You dog is very lucky to have you as an owner. Have you ever considered
giving him some plastic surgery?

I've thought about a .38 inch hole right between her eyeballs!

She's been a good dog. We got her at the local animal shelter in 1991 when she was
about a year and a half (their estimate) old.
