We are all friends here. Relax but don't try to force the

Why can't you tell us what your first name is and stop changing your

Is this too much to ask from you?

I guess because of the same reason alt_man does not like Kevin.

So what is the big deal of posting what your first name is?

He posted 'Reginald' several times, and I've called him Reggie several
times. My head is still
attached to my shoulders, which means he didn't wring my neck.

I guess the game is on.

You may now release the dogs John..................

Dogs?

To seek out the real Smithers...............a metaphor...........get it?

But seriously......if you really want to change the tone of this NG you
have
to stop condoning the words and actions of an anonomous "Smithers".

If not, you are as much of the problem as you blaim others as being.

You lost me.

But, speaking of dogs, I just paid the vet $818 to have a different type
of tumor removed from each
of my dogs. The Lab is getting to be a damn expensive dog.

We're hoping the tumor on the bearded collie isn't malignant, but won't
know until the biopsy
results come back tomorrow or the next day.

What has he done in the past day or two that is bad?

He changes his handle constantly to avoid killfiles.

I have no problem with him, or any one else,
using whatever handle they want.

That is your option. I do have a problem with it.

If you are going to be opionated, stick with the name/handle you voice that
opinion with. Smithers does not do that.

I'm certainly not trying to start or partake in a ****ing contest about
it.

Neither am I.

He needs to claim an identity/handle and stick with it.

Do you think he can do that?

That's your opinion, and you're entitled to it. Personally, I think he does it to be humorous, which
they usually are.

I have no problem with him, or any one else,
using whatever handle they want.

That is your option. I do have a problem with it.

I don't know what to say to that. You have a problem.

If you are going to be opionated, stick with the name/handle you voice that

I guess that's up to him. I've seen no rule anywhere that precludes his handle change. It's not like
he's trying to become incognito. We all know who he is (or as much as he wants us to know).

I'm certainly not trying to start or partake in a ****ing contest about
it.

Neither am I.

He needs to claim an identity/handle and stick with it.

Apparently, *he* doesn't have that need. *You* have that need. I'm not making a judgement on either
of your needs.

Do you think he can do that?

I'm sure he *can* if he so desires. He doesn't seem to have that desire.

My sister has a black lab with torn ligaments in a leg. Last week she
was waiting to get a surgery estimate...which I'll bet hits $1k.
I haven't had a dog since my American Cocker Spaniel got run over & died.
Tough to eat those sky high vet bills when people are covered by our
medical system.

I'd love to. Why are you bugging him about his handle? That has nothing

do with name-calling or

Sure it does. Someone who changes his/her handle every week is not living
up to any criticism presented his/her way and is also cloaking oneself to
killfiiles.

There is no other reason for changing ones handle on a constant basis.

Jim, it sounds like you are busting for a fight about something, but I'm
not sure what or why. If
you criticize Reggie for something he's said, he'll read your response.

If you want to 'attaboy' him that is your option John.

At this point he is showing himself as nothing more than a 'Kevin
wannabe'...............and you are condoning that action.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year John.

My lab tore her anterior cruciate ligament in her left back leg. (I *think* that's the one.) It
holds the knee joint together. The doc repaired it with wire through the upper and lower bones. Then
I had to give the dog physical therapy for two months.

$1500 for the operation. This was after radiation therapy at North Carolina State Vet Hospital for a
month, at a cost of $3500. This is getting to be a damn expensive dog. On the farm, she wouldn't
have lasted this long!

Don,
It should be easy paying for the vet bills when people are covered by your
medical system.

Dogs are great family members, they don't run go to an expensive college and
suddenly know everything. Dog always love you. Dogs are great to go
boating with. Did I mention, dogs will love you no matter what.

Plus, if you get lost in the wilderness, they will help you keep warm. I
would think you could save some money on your heating bills by having your
dogs sleep with you on a cold winter night.

Have you ever heard of a "3 Dog Night"?

Now don't go away mad just because we don't agree on something. I'm neither praising him nor
belittling him. I personally don't think his name changing makes a bit of difference. I don't think
atlman's name changing makes a bit of difference either.

I guess you could say I'm condoning free speech, at least as far as name-changing goes.

Don,
Yeah right. ; )

They were "Three Dog Night".

A three dog night is something completely different.
Three Dog Night
It will be a co~o~o~ld night tonight. The lows will be in the "three to four
dog range" with the windsreaching up to one or more.

As reported in the Aleutian Islands

The Eskimo tribes of Alaska determine temperature based upon how many dogs
they bring in to cuddle within order to stay warm throughout the night. The
Eskimos cherished their dogs as much as they did each other. They pioneered
the use of dog teams, as a means of motivation in some of the harshest and
foulest winter weather. Keeping their dogs running (literally) in the
wintertime was a necessity of life. So, if you really want to know how to
take care of your dogs for the winter, then you take them to an Eskimo for a
winter tune-up.
Tune-up your radio, and heed the "Call of the Wild" or domestic in our case.
