The police were shooting in self defense against people tossing fire bombs at them and attacking with machete type weapons. So the Kent State protesters who threw dangerous rocks, were also justified in being shot down? The protestors did not deserve to be shot at. 4 unarmed student protestors were killed, 9 wounded. I don't care if rocks were being thrown. The blame goes to James Rhodes, governor of Ohio at the time, who sent in the National Guard and to General Canterbury who ordered the Guard members to lock and load their weapons. The rest is history and tragic. But Harry and JimC say the Chinese deserved to be shot as they were tossing things. Sorry, Dummy, but my point was that the US government is no different than the Chinese government: they both kill their citizens. But if they are throwing things it is OK to shoot. That's because there *WAS NO PUBLIC CELEBRATION* of Christmas when the fathers founded! Congress was in session December 25, 1789- the first year of government under our new constitution. What's more, the Left's campaign to infringe upon Christians' free exercise of their religion has not achieved total victory. What a crock. Show me one case of a Christian being denied the opportunity to exercise the Christian religion. "Exercising the Christian religion" shouldn't include forcing jews, muslims, and non-believers to acknowledge a Christian diety, not even for a single day of the year. Gibson shows how millions of Americans are starting to fight back against the secularist forces and liberal local officials. If the Whos aren't keeping Christmas in their hearts- it doesn't matter if there's a venerated tree on every corner, colored lights on every housetop, religious carols about the "birth of the Savior" being sung in every public classroom, a plastic Santa Claus lit up in every front yard, or even a nativity scene at City Park- the Who's won't have a genuine Christmas this year. If the Whos *are* keeping Christmas in their hearts, the zombie-like repitition of "Merry Christmas" by non-believers won't increase the "amount" of Christmas they experience and a merchant wishing all of his customers a happy solstice holiday (rather than a Merry Christmas) won't diminish it. Heck, the Whos might even discover that if Christmas is de-politicized and they drop the "in your face" insistence that everybody acknowledge the Christian diety, (whether Christian or not), a few of the grinches up in the hills might even have a change of heart. :-) |

Christian religion is a money making scheme. If you think about it, it functions alot like a pyramid scheme. The more recruits you get to spread your message, the more money pours in. |
