It would certainly never have occured to me without yer tacky inuendo. Is this what Jesus has given you? A mean-sprited, narrow-minded, fault-finding, back-biting view of life? The presumption that everyone operates out of the most base motives? I'll bet you thank Jesus every day for his gifts I have a friend who has figured out that the reason Christians attribute disgusting motivations to everyone else is that they are constantly battling those same disgusting motivations within themselves, and they cannot believe that the rest of us operate under a diferent set of motivations. They cannot understand that the operative word in "secular humanist" is "humanist"; that we tend to operate, without conscious thought or the need to resist any vile impulses, by principles of humanity and humanitarianism -- courtesy, consideration, love, trust, and generosity. My apologies to all the kind, decent Christians who read this.
