its manufacturing costs in Japan, which are subsidized in many ways by the
government there?

Toyota's workers here are covered by insurance Toyota provides here, but
that doesn't mean its profitability on what it "builds" here is not
impacted by its operations in Japan.

That's just plain dumb. My neighbor Delmar sez compnes in other countrys
