I fell off a CanAM TnT 175cc street legal, dirt bike back on a rough woods trail. Luckily, it was fairly soft where I landed. http://www.motocross.com/vintage/canam/images/mr232.jpg Oh man, i kinda remember those. Don who actually made them, whose engines? I think there was a CanAm 250 street bike that had a Rotac (sp) snowmobile engine with a variable speed pully for a transmission, wasn't there??? see.. * http://www.motocross.com/vintage/canam/canam.htm * Bombardier in Quebec manufactured them...and I believe my model had an Austrian Rotax engine. My bike (1979 model) was in almost new shape when I had it...the only problem was a broken kick stand so I didn't fiddle with motor or engine before I sold it to my nephew. |
