It happened for 1/15 of a second. Please show where you've gleaned that
this was an act of CNN as a whole, and that they are "dishonest". Do
you not think that this could be the act of ONE PERSON, not acting on
behalf of CNN?

It is more than a coincidence that the NY Times, the Washington Post, CBS
news, and CNN always seem to have rogue anti-Bush/anti-Republican persons
in their midst.

Absolutely! There are more and more people all the time who refuse to
goose step to BushCo, ergo more and more people that, because of their
narrow mindedness, the right wing would deem anti-Bush/anti-Republican

The desktop machine I recently assembled suits my needs very well. Since
you have no idea of what my computer needs are, it is unlikely you could
put together one that would serve me "better." Oh, and I suspect my

I have no idea why you are making a big deal out of this. Putting together

I am not making a big deal of it. You resurrected it and I again offered

The challenge is for listing components for the *best* and most powerful
desktop you can put together.

I guess you once again pass and that is not a problem. I understand

CNN OPERATOR FIRED AFTER SUGGESTING 'X' OVER CHENEY WAS 'FREE SPEECH'

A CNN switchboard operator was fired over the holiday -- after the operator
claimed the 'X' placed over Vice President's Dick Cheney's face was "free
speech!"

"We did it just to make a point. Tell them to stop lying, Bush and Cheney,"
the CNN operator said to a caller. "Bring our soldiers home."

The caller initially phoned the network to complain about the all-news
channel flashing an "X' over Cheney as he gave an address live from
Washington.

"Was it not freedom of speech? Yes or No?" the CNN operator explained.

"If you don't like it, don't watch."

Laurie Goldberg, Senior Vice President for Public Relations with CNN, said
in a release:

"A Turner switchboard operator was fired today after we were alerted to a
conversation the operator had with a caller in which the operator lost his
temper and expressed his personal views -- behavior that was totally
inappropriate. His comments did not reflect the views of CNN. We are
reaching out to the caller and expressing our deep regret to her and

Not that we didn't already know it, but CNN can now be ranked right
up there with the Washington Post and NY Times in dishonest,
dirty-pool-type reporting:

CNN OPERATOR FIRED AFTER SUGGESTING 'X' OVER CHENEY WAS 'FREE
SPEECH'

A CNN switchboard operator was fired over the holiday -- after the
operator claimed the 'X' placed over Vice President's Dick Cheney's
face was "free speech!"

"We did it just to make a point. Tell them to stop lying, Bush and
Cheney," the CNN operator said to a caller. "Bring our soldiers
home."

Well, it was kinder and gentler than the crap Faux spews in its quest
to avoid being fair.

I would have run 666 under the photo of Cheney.
Good for you. But you don't work for a major news organization.

I could...wouldn't *that* be a nightmare for guys like you.

Not really. Nobody but liberals pays attention to the Clinton News
Network anyhow.

You should look beyond Rasmussen, Faux and Screwsmax. A growing number of
Americans have had it with the kind of right-wing lunacy you espouse.

You should get off the internet, and expand your circle of acquaintances. I
see and talk to 100 different patients every week. None hold the animosity
towards Bush that you seem to indicate exists.

"narcissistic adults have had decades of not being in synch with the times
or with other people, so that by now they are really out of it. Sometimes it
just seems like they have a highly selective memory -- which, of course,
they do, sort of; they pay attention only to what has their name in it in
the first place, so after 30 or 40 years"

"Narcissists are noted for their negative, pessimistic, cynical, or gloomy
outlook on life. Sarcasm seems to be a narcissistic specialty, not to
mention spite. Lacking love and pleasure, they don't have a good reason for
anything they do and they think everyone else is just like them, except
they're honest and the rest of us are hypocrites. Nothing real is ever
perfect enough to satisfy them, so are they are constantly complaining and
criticizing -- to the point of verbal abuse and insult. "

Yeah sure! Since your patients must be aware of your rabid support of
George W, they would probably hold their true feelings while you're
poking around their mouths with sharp instruments.
