It probably fooled Kevin (he is the only person in here who really is brain-dead). Harry and the democrats just jumped on board anything they thought would derail Bush. They incorrectly assumed that Kerry's "war record" would highlight Bush's lack of a war record. That was just very poor strategy, it highlighted Kerry as a flip flopper, with no real conviction on any issue. The democrats have no real strategy to turn about their downward slide. They just hope the Republicans make enough mistakes that the public will just vote for "anybody else". You know then ones where all of his medals were rescinded and he received a lower than general discharge and then when they were re-issued and his discharge was upgraded to honorable after he became a Senator. |
